Group Assistant Director of Revenue

About the role

Veriu Group, which operates 25 hotels across Australia under the brands Punthill Apartment Hotels and Veriu Hotels & Suites, is looking for an experienced revenue leader to act as Group Assistant Director of Revenue. The role oversees the commercial performance of a portfolio of 7-9 hotels, working with Hotel Management and senior business leaders to maximise revenue, profitability and long-term asset performance. It suits someone who enjoys working with data, uncovering commercial insights and influencing outcomes at group level.

Key responsibilities

• Drive revenue, profitability, market share and commercial performance across an allocated hotel portfolio
• Analyse market trends, demand patterns, competitor activity and performance data to identify revenue opportunities and risks
• Develop and execute pricing, inventory, distribution and segmentation strategies aligned to Group objectives
• Influence key stakeholders through data-driven insights and commercial recommendations
• Lead forecasting, budgeting and long-range planning processes
• Partner with Hotel Management to optimise property performance and ensure accountability for revenue outcomes
• Support pre-opening and newly opened hotels with market analysis, revenue strategy and performance ramp-up planning
• Improve revenue systems, automation, reporting, processes and commercial frameworks
• Contribute to the evolution of the Group's revenue strategy
• Coach and develop a high-performing Revenue team

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in a revenue management leadership function
• Demonstrated ability to develop strong working relationships
• Demonstrated high-performance revenue management
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• High standards of accuracy and attention to detail
• Adaptable, enjoys variety and has an ownership mindset
• Approved Australian working rights (citizenship, permanent residency or visa with approved working rights)
