About the role

Join IBM Consulting as a Graduate Application Developer and work with a diverse range of global clients on asset management solutions. You will co‑create innovative products using best‑practice technologies while developing your technical and professional skills.

Key responsibilities

Design, develop and support high‑quality, scalable applications and interfaces across the full system architecture.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define technical specifications for generative AI and other projects.
Apply IBM Design Thinking to deliver user‑centric, high‑performance, secure solutions.
Work with relational databases, operating systems and modern UI frameworks to build end‑to‑end products.

Required profile

Australian citizenship.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
Demonstrated programming proficiency in at least one language such as Java, C++, Python, Scala, or JavaScript frameworks.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Required skills

Programming languages: Java, C++, Python, Scala, R, SAS, SQL, HTML, VBA.
Frameworks and tools: Spring Boot, Angular, ReactJS, Backbone.js, Ember.js, Bootstrap, jQuery, Git.
Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, DB2, MongoDB.
Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, Google Cloud.
Concepts: Generative AI modeling, Microservices architecture, Linux/Windows/iOS/Android operating systems.
