About the role

Central Highlands Group is seeking an experienced Grader Operator for a minimum six‑month contract based in Colac West, VIC. The role involves the safe and efficient operation of grading equipment on road and surface projects, with a strong focus on quality and adherence to safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate grading machinery to grade roads and level surfaces.
• Maintain and service equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Interpret and follow construction and grading plans.
• Collaborate with on‑site teams to meet project timelines and standards.
• Adapt to varying site conditions while upholding safety protocols.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of proven experience operating grading equipment.
• Hands‑on experience with Trimble systems – a must.
• Valid machinery operator certification or relevant licences.
• Ability to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions and manage physical demands.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
