General Practitioner (Private Billing)

About the role

DNA Medical is recruiting a General Practitioner for a well-regarded private billing practice in Bondi Junction, Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, which has served the local community for over 20 years. The practice offers long, quality consultations (15-20 minutes or more) and an established patient list, with full-time or part-time positions available.

What we offer

• Remuneration of 65% of billings, with standard consultations starting at $130 (Item 23), earning $84.50 per consultation and $338 per hour gross on four patients an hour.
• An established patient base: the opportunity to take over an existing GP's patient list.
• A busy practice with strong patient demand; existing GPs are booked about a week in advance.
• A team of six GPs supported by an administration and nursing team.
• Convenient location in Bondi Junction, near the train station, shops, cafés and Bondi Beach.

Required profile

• Specialist registration with AHPRA.
• Fellowship with RACGP or ACRRM.
• Experience in a private billing GP practice preferred.
• Commitment to quality, patient-centred medicine and an interest in longer consultations and building lasting patient relationships.
