General Manager – Lead Moog Australia Operations

About the role

Moog is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead its Australia site within the Space and Defence Group. This senior leadership position is responsible for building capability, ensuring 100% quality and on‑time delivery of missile steering and control systems, and driving the growth strategy for Moog Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all site operations, delivering safety, quality, delivery, cost and employee engagement targets.
• Own the site P&L, balancing revenue growth, cost control and investment priorities.
• Partner with the Business Unit General Manager on customer engagement, transparency and operational readiness.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimise processes, resources and production equipment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
• 10+ years of management experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in defence or aerospace.
• Australian citizenship and ability to obtain NV1 security clearance and ITAR access.

Required skills

• Technical expertise in missile steering controls, actuation systems or propulsion technologies.
• Strong understanding of production processes for complex defence systems.
• Proven leadership and continuous‑improvement mindset.
