About the role

Join JD Sports in Chermside as a Full‑time Footwear Sales Assistant. You will be the front‑line representative of the brand, delivering exceptional customer service and helping shoppers find the perfect sports‑fashion products.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a brand ambassador, maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
• Develop and keep up‑to‑date product knowledge to advise customers effectively.
• Provide personalised 1:1 assistance and process sales transactions.
• Collaborate with management and store team to meet KPIs and sales targets.
• Support ad‑hoc tasks such as visual merchandising, store cleanliness and presentation.
• Escalate customer complaints to management when needed.
• Complete mandatory training on product, policy and procedures.

Required profile

• Previous customer‑service experience in retail, hospitality or a similar field.
• Passion for sports fashion and familiarity with key brands.
• Positive, can‑do attitude and strong teamwork orientation.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to engage with customers.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
