About the role
The Fuel Reception Operator supports the East Rockingham Waste-to-Energy Project by managing material flow and ensuring safe, compliant operation of plant equipment on a 24‑hour shift system.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out routine tasks and testing of plant equipment and update the shift log with plant and process changes.
- Operate the weighbridge and off‑loading systems within contractual requirements.
- Report defects in the CMMS and follow them through to completion.
- Assist the Tipping Hall Supervisor with materials management and support the Shift Fuel Reception Operators.
Required profile
- At least 3 years of industrial work experience, including heavy machinery operation.
- Experience working with large, diverse Operations & Maintenance teams, preferably in renewable energy or waste management.
- Current valid driver’s licence.
Required skills
- Operation of weighbridge and off‑loading equipment.
- Use of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for defect reporting.
