Frontend Software Engineer

About the role

Megaport is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to join its Engineering team. You will help build high‑quality, customer‑focused web applications, most notably the Megaport Portal, while collaborating with a skilled, global technical team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal and customer‑facing web projects, ensuring a superior user experience.
• Implement new functionality using a modern stack: Vue 3, TypeScript, Vite, Tailwind, TanStack, and an Nx monorepo.
• Improve code architecture and development processes.
• Translate business requirements into reactive, scalable technical solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver intuitive, high‑performing features.
• Create unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests with Playwright and Vitest.
• Stay current with design principles, best practices, and maintainable architecture.

Required profile

• Proven track record delivering high‑performance web applications.
• Experience with Vue (or Nuxt) and familiarity with other frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Strong understanding of W3C web standards and accessibility guidelines.
