Front Office All-Rounder

About the role

The Front Office All-Rounder will be the first point of contact for guests at Sofitel Melbourne on Collins, delivering warm welcomes and ensuring seamless stays. Working across all front‑office functions, you will support the team in delivering the high standards expected of a 5‑star luxury hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests with professionalism, warmth and genuine hospitality.
• Manage check‑ins and check‑outs efficiently and accurately.
• Handle guest enquiries, requests and complaints with confidence and discretion.
• Provide local knowledge and concierge recommendations.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Engineering and other departments to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.
• Answer telephone and email enquiries promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate guest records and ensure compliance with hotel policies.
• Assist with valet, luggage and guest services during peak periods when required.
• Support the team across all Front Office operations, including occasional night shifts.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a luxury hotel or premium hospitality environment.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities.
