Freelance Market Analyst (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Market Analyst on a freelance, remote basis to deliver timely, trader‑focused market analysis and commentary across global and APAC financial markets.

Key responsibilities

• Produce regular market commentary, trade ideas and weekly market outlooks.
• Analyse market movements using technical, fundamental and macroeconomic analysis.
• Cover key events such as economic data releases, central bank decisions, earnings and major news.
• Explain market moves, their significance and what traders should watch next.
• Create long‑form analysis and shorter content for social media and email, incorporating charts and trading scenarios.

Required profile

• Professional experience in market analysis, trading, investment research or financial markets.
• Strong knowledge of equities, forex, indices and/or commodities.
• Experience with both technical and fundamental analysis.
• Excellent English writing skills and ability to communicate complex market developments clearly.
• Strong understanding of APAC and global markets with the ability to respond quickly to breaking developments.
