Food Runner

About the role

Liquid & Larder, a Sydney-based hospitality group, is looking for energetic runners for its steakhouse The Gidley in the Sydney CBD. The role keeps service flowing between the kitchen and front of house during busy service, and suits someone who wants to grow, whether they are new to the industry or already experienced.

Key responsibilities

• Service guests according to venue guidelines and the sequence of service
• Deliver food and beverage to guests
• Keep clear communication between the kitchen team and front of house
• Maintain the pass and back of house to The Gidley standards, and set it up and pack it down
• Create and maintain guest relationships for the best possible experience
• Contribute to venue culture

Required profile

• Preferred experience in a premium or hatted venue
• A confident and calm demeanour, able to move between roles easily
• High attention to detail and a genuine passion for guest interaction
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Availability to work a flexible roster, including weekends and evenings
