Fleet Finance Business Partner

About the role

Join SIXT Australia’s Finance team as a Fleet Finance Business Partner. This full‑time, hybrid role supports the financial performance of one of Australia’s largest rental fleets, providing analysis, reporting and commercial insights for vehicle lifecycle management and fleet profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting and forecasting for all fleet‑related costs and assets.
• Manage month‑end fleet financial reporting, variance analysis and commentary.
• Maintain the fixed asset register, handling depreciation and fleet‑related expenses.
• Perform residual value analysis and depreciation modelling to support financial planning.
• Partner with Fleet leaders on procurement, replacement planning, write‑offs and lifecycle analysis.
• Complete balance‑sheet reconciliations and uphold strong financial controls.
• Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards and KPIs for fleet performance.
• Collaborate with Fleet, Procurement and Operations to improve data accuracy and system integration.
• Support audit requirements and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Identify and implement process improvements, focusing on automation and reporting efficiency.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualified.
• 3+ years experience in FP&A, Management Accounting, Commercial Finance or Finance Business Partnering.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret large data sets and identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Experience in fleet, automotive, leasing or other asset‑intensive environments is highly regarded.
