Financial Analyst - FP&A

About the role

Busy Bees, a global early learning provider with over 130 centres across Australia, is looking for a driven Financial Analyst to join its FP&A team in Nundah. You will turn financial data into meaningful insights and partner with stakeholders to support better business decisions, working closely with experienced finance professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial reporting, analysis and insights for key stakeholders and leadership
• Support month-end reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
• Maintain reporting systems including PBCS and Monthly Board Reporting
• Analyse trends, variances and business performance to identify opportunities and risks
• Support statutory reporting, cash flow, CapEx forecasting and centre incentive calculations
• Partner with the FP&A team on ad hoc analysis, reporting and commercial projects

Required profile

• 2-3 years' experience in a Financial Analyst or similar corporate finance role
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business or a related discipline
• Experience with enterprise ERP systems; NetSuite experience highly regarded
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Genuine commitment to child safety and wellbeing, aligned to Busy Bees values

Required skills

• Budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and advanced Excel
• Power BI, Tableau or similar experience highly regarded
• CPA/CA or progress towards qualification advantageous
