Field Service Technician – Western Melbourne Metro

About the role

Join Tomra’s mission to transform recycling through smart technology as an Electrical Field Technician. You will maintain, service and repair Reverse Vending Machines and bulk processing equipment across Western Metro Melbourne, travelling daily to customer sites.

Key responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair installed electromechanical equipment, including conveyors, sensors and motors.
• Install kiosks and bulk processing systems at new locations.
• Report on service assignments, faults and product improvement opportunities.
• Provide excellent customer service to partners and the public.

Required profile

• Certificate III in Electrical/Electronic Trade or equivalent experience.
• Unrestricted driver’s licence with a clean driving record; willingness to travel on a rotating 7‑day roster.
• Ability to pass police check, medical, drug and alcohol screening.

Required skills

• Experience with operating systems, software installation, networking and mobile telecommunications.
• Strong diagnostic and analytical skills across mechanical, electrical and electronic systems.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and replace circuit boards, sensors and electronic components.
