About the role

Join Fisher & Paykel's Customer Experience team in Melbourne as a Field Service Technician, representing the brand during crucial in‑home service visits. You will combine strong diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities with professional communication to deliver premium service.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose product faults and identify efficient, accurate solutions.
• Perform service and repair work to high technical and safety standards.
• Aim for first‑time resolution wherever possible.
• Communicate clearly with customers, explaining findings, required actions, and next steps.
• Treat customers' homes and appliances with premium‑brand care and respect.
• Maintain high standards of preparation, presentation, workmanship and professionalism.
• Utilise digital tools, technical information and service knowledge for diagnosis and resolution.
• Keep technical and product knowledge up‑to‑date as new products are introduced.
• Collaborate with wider Customer Experience and technical support teams on complex issues.
• Own safety, quality and overall customer experience from arrival through completion.

Required profile

• Strong practical and technical problem‑solving capability.
