Field Service Technician

About the role

RCT, a leader in mobile mining automation technology, is expanding its technical team at the new Orange, NSW branch. The Field Service Technician will support the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of advanced automation equipment for mining and industrial customers.

Key responsibilities

• Install and commission RCT automation products on site.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections.
• Troubleshoot and repair breakdowns, providing timely solutions.
• Support branch, project, and service‑related activities across various locations.

Required profile

• Trade‑qualified Auto Electrician, Mechanic or Electrician with relevant industry experience.
• Strong interest in control and automation technologies.
• Safety‑focused, self‑motivated and able to work well in a team.
• Current Australian driver’s licence.
• Diagnostic and fault‑finding abilities.
• Australian citizen or permanent resident.
