Field Service Plant Mechanic

About the role

Join Komatsu’s expanding team in the Mudgee region as a Field Service Plant Mechanic. You will be responsible for preventative maintenance, commissioning inspections and servicing of Komatsu equipment, delivering high‑quality solutions while providing outstanding customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and routine servicing on plant equipment.
• Carry out commissioning inspections and complimentary servicing.
• Provide OEM servicing in line with Komatsu standards.
• Deliver high‑quality maintenance solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Work independently in remote locations, adhering to safety protocols.

Required profile

• Mobile plant trade certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience repairing and maintaining plant equipment.
• Strong relationship‑building abilities with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work unsupervised and autonomously.
• Commitment to safety and willingness to work in remote areas.
• Valid LR Class Driver’s Licence.
