Export Sea Coordinator (LCL)

About the role

Mondiale VGL, a transport and logistics provider with operations in 19 markets, is expanding its LCL export portfolio and is looking for an Export Operator to take ownership of it. The role manages shipments from the moment a client books through to final invoicing, keeping cargo, paperwork and customers in sync. It is a full-time position based in Sydney.

Key responsibilities

• Bookings and co-loader management: accept client bookings, place them with co-loaders and build strong working relationships with them to secure space
• Shipment registration: register shipments accurately in the system so every job is tracked from day one
• Export customs: lodge export customs declarations, manage EDN processing and keep every shipment compliant and clear to depart on schedule
• LCL transport coordination: arrange LCL transport from pick-up through to the port or CFSL, liaising with carriers and clients on timings and changes
• Export documentation: prepare the full export document set, including House Bill of Lading (HBL), Master Bill of Lading (MBL), Manifest and Pre-alert, and ensure they are accurate, timely and sent to the right parties
• Invoicing: raise invoices for completed shipments, capturing all relevant charges, and close out each job cleanly

Required profile

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in the freight forwarding industry, including at least 6 months in sea exports
• The ability to work from the office 4 days per week; the company values collaboration, quick problem-solving and a team culture
• Detail-oriented, enjoys variety and likes seeing a job through from start to finish

Required skills

• CargoWise One (CW1) experience, which is essential, as the role involves using it daily from booking through to invoicing
