Executive Lead, Service Delivery and Impact
Community Options Australia · Sydney
Job description
About the role
Community Options Australia (COA), a not-for-profit established in 1996 that provides aged care assessments and person-centred care for older people, people with disability and their families, is creating a new Executive Lead role. Reporting directly to the CEO, it is one of three Executive Lead appointments as COA builds a new Executive Leadership Team. The role leads assessment services across NSW and the ACT and strengthens the structures, operating rhythm and leadership capability needed to deliver consistently across a largely remote workforce.
Key responsibilities
- Lead assessment services across NSW and the ACT, strengthening the structures and leadership needed to deliver consistently across a remote workforce.
- Bring greater visibility to service and contract performance and connect teams across regions.
- Build a service model that balances quality, timeliness and efficiency while keeping older people at its centre.
- Represent COA with government and sector partners and strengthen its standing in aged care.
- Help position the organisation to expand its impact through future contracts and programs.
Required profile
- Significant senior operations leadership experience across multi-site or remote, government-funded service delivery, with accountability for contractual KPIs, compliance and Board reporting.
- A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. health, nursing, social work or business).
- Experience in aged care, ideally aged care assessment (Single Assessment System, ACAT or RAS), strongly preferred; a clinical background is highly regarded.
- Leaders from health, disability or community services are encouraged to apply.
- Sydney-based, with flexible working arrangements available.
Required skills
- Workforce planning and performance data.
- Clinical governance.
- CRM systems, ideally Salesforce.
The role suits an experienced operations leader who combines structure and discipline with empathy, sets clear expectations, builds accountable management teams and wants to grow with the organisation long term. Applications are handled through the recruitment agency, with a deadline of 11:59 PM on Sunday 15 November.
