Executive Assistant to the CEO

About the role
Partner directly with the CEO in a high‑impact, strategic Executive Assistant role within a purpose‑driven not‑for‑profit organization. You will enable the CEO to focus on strategic priorities while contributing to meaningful social change.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high‑level, confidential support for executive workflows, communications, scheduling, and stakeholder engagement.
- Coordinate CEO‑led projects and strategic initiatives, monitor progress, manage risks, and facilitate cross‑functional collaboration.
- Prepare Board and Committee papers, take accurate minutes, and maintain governance systems and documentation.
- Support the integration of trauma‑informed and culturally safe practices across the organisation.
Required profile
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant supporting senior leaders in complex environments.
- Highly organised, strategic, and able to manage competing priorities with discretion.
- Excellent communication, sound judgement, and strong attention to detail.
- Resilient, adaptable, solutions‑focused and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Relevant qualifications and experience in community, health, or human services sectors are highly regarded.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
- Experience with ClickUp (advantageous).
