About the role
The Executive Assistant provides comprehensive, confidential administrative support to the Executive Director and the Regional Services team in the Big Rivers Region. Working in a fast‑paced environment, the role handles sensitive matters, tight deadlines and shifting priorities while ensuring smooth regional operations.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate administrative activities for the Executive Director and regional staff.
- Enter and maintain accurate data, produce reports and perform quality‑assurance checks.
- Manage ministerial liaison duties, preparing correspondence and briefing materials.
- Prioritise and track multiple tasks, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Support the region with ad‑hoc projects and stakeholder engagement.
Required profile
- Demonstrated experience at Administrative Officer 4 level or equivalent.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage confidential information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, especially in a government context.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
Required skills
- Proficiency in standard office software for data entry and document preparation.
- Experience with quality‑assurance processes and record‑keeping.
