Estimator – Commercial Construction

About the role

Join a national builder’s pre‑construction team as an Estimator, developing detailed cost plans and supporting competitive tenders across commercial new‑build and fit‑out projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost plans and estimates from concept through tender stages.
• Manage subcontractor and supplier pricing, conduct trade comparisons and tender analysis.
• Review project documentation to identify cost risks, opportunities and buildability issues.
• Provide value‑engineering advice and collaborate with design, delivery and pre‑construction teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years estimating experience in commercial construction.
• Experience with new‑build and/or fit‑out projects and exposure to $2M–$30M project values.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Aspirations to progress to a Senior Estimator role within 12 months.
