Electrical Design Engineer – Industrial EI&C

About the role

Join Aurecon’s Industrial EI&C team as an Electrical Design Engineer, contributing to carbon‑neutral, sustainable major works. You will work on heavy industrial and process plant projects, ensuring designs meet Australian standards and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical, instrumentation and control system designs for industrial projects.
• Apply power systems software to model and optimise electrical networks.
• Collaborate with clients to capture requirements and provide technical guidance.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant Australian Standards.
• Support the delivery of sustainable, low‑carbon solutions across the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in detailed design of electrical, instrumentation and control systems.
• Strong knowledge of heavy industrial and process plant environments.
• Familiarity with key Australian Standards related to electrical design.
• Ability to interface effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
