Early Childhood Educator

About the role

Join Nido Early School as an Educator and help create inspiring learning environments that nurture each child’s curiosity and potential. You will work closely with families and colleagues to bring the Reggio Emilia philosophy to life while supporting children’s wellbeing and sense of belonging.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver programs inspired by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Reggio Emilia approaches.
• Foster children’s wellbeing, confidence, and sense of belonging.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with families and communicate children’s progress.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative environment for both children and the team.
• Participate in continuous learning and reflective practice.

Required profile

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA recognised).
• Relevant experience in early childhood education.
• Understanding of EYLF and National Quality Standard (NQS) requirements.
• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) and First Aid certification.
• Willingness to complete the federally mandated National Child Safety Training if not already held.

Required skills
