About the role
As a Drainage Engineer at Aurecon you will join a multidisciplinary team delivering innovative drainage and waterway solutions across challenging infrastructure projects in Western Australia. You will contribute to sustainable design outcomes that shape the future of communities and the environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support drainage and wider road teams by providing engineering designs for complex projects.
- Deliver hydraulic designs and hydrological assessments from concept stage through to construction completion.
- Ensure designs comply with local standards and regulations and liaise with local authorities.
- Prepare engineering designs, specifications, calculations and detailed reports.
- Collaborate with global, multi‑discipline teams to deliver high‑value outcomes for private and public sector clients.
Required profile
- Genuine passion for re‑imagining problems and continuous learning.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder and authority engagement.
Required skills
- Hydraulic design.
- Hydrological assessment.
- Knowledge of local drainage standards and regulations.
