Detective Consultant – Fully Remote

About the role

Mercor is seeking experienced private investigators to work remotely as Detective Consultants. You will support AI research labs by delivering domain‑specific insights and solutions that help advance machine‑learning systems.

Key responsibilities

• Create deliverables for common requests within your professional domain.
• Review peer‑developed deliverables and suggest improvements for AI research.
• Diagnose and solve real‑world issues to enhance machine‑learning models.
• Work independently and asynchronously, meeting deadlines while contributing to cutting‑edge AI projects.
• Collaborate with AI labs to improve research processes and infrastructure.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in private investigation or a related field.
• Excellent written communication with strong grammar and spelling.
• Immediate availability to start.

Required skills

What we offer

• Contract engagement for 3–4 weeks.
• 30–40 hours per week, fully remote.
• Compensation ranging from $80 to $120 per hour.
