Desktop Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to manage and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity incidents for end‑users. You will be the primary point of contact for desk‑side issues, ensuring all desktop devices are secure, up‑to‑date, and operating efficiently throughout their lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Manage desktop hardware, software, and connectivity incidents from ticket creation to resolution.
• Provide iMac and desk‑side support, including break‑fix services for laptops and desktops.
• Maintain standard operating system images, patch updates, hardware replacements, and spare inventory.
• Monitor security profiles and anti‑virus compliance on all devices.
• Analyze service‑desk data to recommend user training and automation opportunities.
• Deliver VIP desk‑side support and act as the on‑site IT point of contact when other teams are unavailable.

Required profile

• Associate degree in electronics or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Knowledge of Windows 7, Active Directory, and basic smart‑hand/feet support.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem, Service Request).
• Experience with service‑management tools such as ServiceNow.
