Dental Assistant

About the role

Bayside Health is recruiting a Dental Assistant for its Hastings Community Health Centre, a public health service in metropolitan Melbourne. Multiple permanent part-time and full-time positions are available, classified as Dental Assistant Grade 1 (DY12) and Grade 2 (DY13-DY17), with sub-grading based on years of experience. The assistant works in a supportive multidisciplinary team, providing clinical support to dental practitioners, helping run the dental program and delivering good customer service to patients and their families.

Required profile

• Certificate III or Certificate IV in Dental Assisting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, a willingness to learn and a commitment to continuous improvement
• Experience in dental software
• Experience in a public health service is desirable
