Data Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join NOVA Entertainment’s growing data ecosystem. You will be responsible for managing and enhancing data pipelines that connect audience insights across broadcast and digital platforms, helping to drive personalisation and commercial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable data architectures and pipelines across NOVA’s platforms.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, commercial and marketing teams to translate data requirements into reliable solutions.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to support reporting, insights and visualisation needs.
• Work with marketing and advertising technology partners to enable privacy‑compliant data activation.
• Embed data considerations into new product and platform initiatives from the outset.
• Identify opportunities to use data for personalisation, targeting and audience engagement.
• Continuously improve data quality, efficiency and performance across systems.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest data engineering trends and apply them where appropriate.
