Dash 8 Captain

About the role

Aeriviva, a Dubai-based aviation recruitment consultancy, is supporting Skytrans, an Australian regional airline operating Dash 8 aircraft and serving regional communities, in recruiting a full-time Dash 8 captain. The position is based in Sydney.

Required profile

• Australian Air Transport Pilot Licence (A)
• DHC8 type rating
• Current Command Instrument Rating
• Minimum 3,000 hours total aeronautical experience, 2,500 hours as pilot in command, 1,500 hours PIC on aircraft above 5,700 kg MTOW and 500 hours PIC on multi-engine aircraft
• CASA Class 1 medical certificate
• Completed MCC course and current or obtainable ASIC
• Meets CAR 217 proficiency and company recency requirements
• Willingness to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening

Required skills

• English language proficiency level 4 or higher
• Current Dangerous Goods Awareness Certificate or ability to obtain one
