Crowd Controller – Hospitality Venues in WA

About the role

NPB Security Australia is seeking enthusiastic Crowd Controllers to work across a range of premier hospitality venues in Western Australia, including bars, night clubs and event spaces. You will help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for patrons while supporting the venue’s operational flow.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor crowd movement and manage entry/exit points at assigned venues.
• Provide visible security presence to deter incidents and ensure compliance with venue policies.
• Respond promptly to any disturbances, conflicts or emergencies.
• Complete accurate incident and activity reports using company systems.
• Collaborate with venue management and other security staff to maintain team cohesion.

Required profile

• Current WA Security Paper Licence.
• Valid Applied First Aid Certificate and White Card.
• Prior experience in crowd control or a strong willingness to learn.
• Professional appearance and high level of personal conduct.
• Excellent communication and public‑relation skills.
• Availability to work nights, weekends and flexible hours.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a smartphone and basic computer applications for reporting.
