Country Data Analyst – Data Analyst

About the role

As the Country Data Analyst for IKEA Australia & New Zealand, you will turn complex data into clear, actionable insights that shape business strategy and improve customer experiences. You will work within the Digital & Expansion team, supporting the development of digital products and services through data‑driven decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Champion data‑driven decision‑making across the country business.
• Conduct advanced data exploration and analysis using modern data‑mining techniques and visualisation tools.
• Evaluate and integrate internal and external data sources for product analytics and strategic planning.
• Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform and load large datasets.
• Translate data findings into compelling narratives and collaborate cross‑functionally to deliver business value.

Required profile

• Formal qualification (BSc, MSc, PhD) in economics, engineering, natural sciences, computer science, statistics, mathematics or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst or Data Scientist.
• Strong understanding of large‑scale data processing and the IKEA business environment.
• Proven ability to communicate data insights to diverse audiences.
