Corporate Lawyer – Public M&A & ECM

About the role

Hamilton Locke is seeking a Lawyer to join its market‑leading public markets practice in Sydney. You will work on equity capital markets transactions such as IPOs, secondary raisings and ASX compliance, as well as public M&A deals for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Advise corporations, private‑equity sponsors, founders and investment banks on equity capital market transactions and public M&A.
• Manage ASX compliance matters and support clients throughout IPOs and secondary fundraising processes.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years post‑qualification experience in a leading private practice.
• Strong Australian public markets and ASX experience with a genuine passion for public markets law.
• Entrepreneurial and innovative mindset, eager to work in a collaborative team culture.

Required skills

• Australian public markets experience.
• ASX compliance knowledge.
