Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist (FRANZCOG) – Regional Referral Centre

About the role

This full‑time Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist position is with a major cross‑border regional health service. The role starts immediately, with 2027 start dates also considered for suitable candidates. You will join a large, progressive referral centre delivering comprehensive women’s health services across two states.

Key responsibilities

• Provide broad obstetric and gynaecology clinical care to a diverse regional population.
• Participate in teaching, supervision and mentorship of registrars and trainees.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across acute, sub‑acute, emergency, surgery, mental health and allied health services.
• Contribute to clinical research, medical education and workforce development initiatives.

Required profile

• Eligibility for registration with AHPRA and FRANZCOG (or equivalent specialist qualification).
• RANZCOG trainees nearing Fellowship, SIMGs close to peer‑review completion, and UK CCT holders are strongly encouraged to apply.
