Conference & Events Coordinator

About the role

Pullman Sydney Airport, a 5-star hotel in Mascot Business Park with 229 rooms and premium conference and events facilities, is looking for a highly organised, customer-focused Conference & Events Coordinator to join its Sales & Marketing team. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, the role covers conferences, meetings and events from enquiry through to delivery, working closely with clients and operational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate conference and event enquiries from initial enquiry through to post-event follow-up
• Prepare quotations, contracts, Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and client correspondence
• Assist in converting enquiries into confirmed business
• Coordinate event logistics and communicate requirements with operational departments
• Conduct client site inspections and venue show rounds
• Maintain strong client relationships to secure repeat business
• Keep event information accurate in Delphi and Opera
• Support the Director of Sales & Marketing with administrative and sales activities and help achieve revenue and guest satisfaction targets

Required profile

• Previous experience in conference and events coordination, hotel sales or hospitality preferred
• Full Australian working rights
• Ability to work onsite

Required skills

• Experience using Delphi and Opera is highly desirable
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and high attention to detail
