Concierge – Luxury Hotel Guest Services

About the role

The Tasman, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Hobart, seeks a Concierge to deliver refined, personalized service that creates memorable guest journeys. Working closely with all hotel departments, you will coordinate guest preferences, special requests, VIP requirements, and arrival arrangements to ensure each stay is seamless and exceptional.

Key responsibilities

• Provide concierge services in line with The Luxury Collection brand standards.
• Coordinate transportation, dining, local experiences, and special requests before and during guest stays.
• Maintain expert knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, events, and cultural experiences.
• Build and sustain relationships with local businesses to curate bespoke recommendations.
• Liaise with hotel departments to ensure seamless communication and execution of guest requirements.
• Oversee the Bell team (Porters & Valets) to ensure professional presentation and efficient luggage handling.
• Support VIP arrivals, special occasions, and bespoke guest experiences.
• Maintain the presentation and professionalism of the concierge desk and lobby.
• Handle guest enquiries, feedback, and concerns promptly and professionally.

Required profile

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a client‑facing or guest‑facing role within a luxury environment.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, thorough follow‑up, and proven problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent time‑management skills.
