Commercial Director – Senior Leadership Role

About the role

GoFundraise is seeking a Commercial Director to join its senior leadership team in Sydney. This newly created role will shape growth, delivery and operations across Australia, the US, the UK, Canada and New Zealand, reporting directly to the CEO.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Growth function: set direction for revenue and marketing, develop strategic partnerships, manage tender applications and ensure revenue targets are met.
• Oversee the Delivery function: monitor client success performance, support escalations and provide resources for the campaign delivery team.
• Guide the Operations function: prioritize platform support, onboarding and continuous improvement activities.
• Translate company strategy into quarterly priorities, identify risks and opportunities, and support executive decision‑making.
• Foster team culture, act as an escalation point and mentor leaders across the business.
• Maintain contracts, partner agreements and internal policy documentation, coordinating with external legal counsel.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a commercial, operations or general management role, preferably within a SaaS or tech‑enabled services environment.
• Track record of driving revenue growth and managing sales teams with accountability for commercial outcomes.
• Experience coordinating multi‑stakeholder tender and proposal submissions.
• Strong operational instincts, comfortable resolving ambiguity and juggling competing priorities.
