Civil / Project Engineer

About the role

Aurecon is seeking a motivated Civil / Project Engineer to join its Energy and Industrial team in Perth. You will work on a mix of large‑scale and smaller infrastructure projects across mining, mineral processing, bulk handling, defence and water sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance projects through the full lifecycle.
• Transform early concepts and preliminary designs into detailed, tender‑ready solutions.
• Prepare work scopes, manage tendering processes and support procurement activities.
• Produce high‑quality deliverables for technically complex civil designs.
• Apply relevant engineering legislation and standards to each project.
• Contribute to project planning, resourcing and the growth of civil capability within the Energy and Resources sector.
• Support clients during project execution and help maintain strong client relationships.

Required profile

• Qualified civil engineer with experience in design and project management.
• Ability to work on both large and small infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of engineering legislation, standards and procurement processes.
• Excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholder engagement.
