Civil Construction Manager

About the role

Freyssinet Australia is looking for an experienced Civil Construction Manager to lead a portfolio of complex infrastructure projects across Victoria. Reporting to the National Civil Operations Manager, you will oversee multiple concurrent projects valued between $5 million and $30 million, ensuring safe, on‑time and profitable delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support Project Managers, Engineers and site teams across several projects.
• Drive performance in safety, programme, quality and commercial outcomes.
• Forecast and optimise labour resourcing and manage project planning.
• Oversee monthly reporting, forecasting and performance tracking.
• Manage contract administration, including risk and opportunity identification.
• Support subcontractor procurement, supplier engagement and client relationship management.
• Ensure compliance with company systems, processes and safety standards.
• Provide leadership on Industrial Relations matters when required.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 7–10+ years delivering civil infrastructure projects, including bridge construction.
• Proven experience managing projects valued $5 M–$30 M.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with budgeting and margin management experience.
• Ability to lead, develop and mentor multidisciplinary teams.
