Casual Waitstaff - UNSW The Lounge

About the role

The Fresh Collective is recruiting experienced casual waitstaff for UNSW The Lounge. The role offers Monday to Friday shifts with no late nights or weekends, starting at around 15 to 20 hours per week, with the chance to move to full-time based on performance and business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Take orders and make sure customers have a delightful experience
• Deliver food and beverage service professionally, efficiently and courteously
• Provide a la carte and bar service
• Use the POS to enter orders and handle cash and card
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the bar's wine list, cocktail menu and food menu
• Assist with opening and closing procedures

Required profile

• 1 year of FOH hospitality experience in a premium venue, including a la carte waitperson experience
• Available to work Monday and Friday 10am-3pm and Tuesday to Thursday 9am-7pm, with occasional evening shifts on Monday and Friday
• Australian citizen, PR holder or medium-term visa holder only; valid working rights in Australia
• Valid NSW RSA
