Casual Grain Technician (Forrestfield)

About the role

Join the Forrestfield team as a Casual Grain Technician. Reporting to the Supervisor, you will be responsible for grain receival, storage, out‑loading and out‑turning. Shifts are rostered across Monday to Sunday with a mix of morning and night hours.

Key responsibilities

• Assist operational processes to meet industry standards.
• Ensure grain quality is received and maintained within receival standards.
• Verify that loaded grain is correct, free of contaminants and meets specifications.
• Move grain within programmed timeframes.
• Provide job‑specific training to colleagues when required.
• Maintain a high standard of hygiene across the site.

Required profile

• Unrestricted, valid driver’s licence (HR/HC advantageous) with a reliable vehicle.
• Physically fit according to CBH pre‑employment medical requirements.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces and in high grain‑dust environments.
• Current High Risk Work Licence LF (desirable).
• Basic computer skills.
• Previous CBH experience (desirable).
