The Gidley, a premium steakhouse in Sydney's CBD, is looking for a casual Commis Chef. The role suits a hands-on, reliable and confident chef who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance kitchen, takes pride in consistency and wants to grow within one of Sydney's most respected hospitality groups.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain consistency of all food in line with company standards
• Embody the company culture and promote it within the team
• Ensure correct maintenance and cleanliness of equipment and kitchen areas
• Communicate efficiently with all members of the kitchen team
• Carry out additional duties required to fulfil the position

Required profile

• Experience in a premium or hatted venue is a plus; attitude and willingness to learn matter most
• Calm, confident and attentive to detail
• Passionate about great food and creating memorable guest experiences
• Flexible availability
