Business Development Representative - Remote (Australia)

About the role

Employment Hero is hiring an Outbound Sales Development Representative to join its ANZ sales team. Based anywhere in Australia, the role works with the sales team to generate qualified leads and sales opportunities, helping shape the company's growth. The advertised pay is $83k base with $140,960 OTE.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new sales opportunities through outbound cold calls, emails and lead follow-ups
• Understand customer needs through discovery calls and route promising opportunities to Account Executives
• Research accounts, identify key decision-makers and spark their interest
• Maintain and grow the prospect database within the assigned segment
• Collaborate on online demos with prospects and hand over high-potential leads to Account Executives

Required profile

• 1+ years of proven high-volume outbound sales experience (B2B)
• Track record of exceeding targets
• Strong phone presence and resilience to be on the phone all day
• Excellent verbal and written communication, listening and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively

Required skills

• Sales tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lusha, ZoomInfo and Outreach
