Business Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Sydney team and sell FoodByUs’ leading B2B order management platform to hospitality businesses. You will generate leads, pitch the solution, run price comparisons and close deals, working under an uncapped commission structure.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new buyers and hospitality venues (cafés, restaurants, bars, clubs, pubs) that could benefit from the FoodByUs platform.
• Develop and implement business development strategies to meet revenue and growth targets.
• Provide regular reports on sales pipelines, activities and progress toward targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, delivering tailored solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or sales professional.
• Hunter mindset – comfortable with cold‑calling and leveraging personal networks.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities with a track record of closing deals.
• Self‑starter, commercially savvy and able to work both autonomously and within a team.
• Knowledge of the hospitality/F&B industry is desirable but not essential.
