About the role
A leading kitchen and benchtop manufacturer in Campbellfield, Melbourne, is hiring a Bridge Saw Operator to run its CNC bridge saw and cut premium natural stone, porcelain and sintered stone slabs for major builders.
Key responsibilities
- Operate the CNC bridge saw to cut slabs accurately to specification
- Plan cuts to get the most out of every slab
- Work from drawings and cutting lists
- Set up tooling and adjust parameters for each material
- Quality-check cut pieces before they move to fabrication
- Carry out routine machine maintenance
- Follow silica-safety and OH&S procedures
Required profile
- Proven CNC bridge saw experience in stone
- Natural stone, porcelain and sintered stone experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and safety-conscious
