Banking Consultant – Retail Banking (Narre Warren)

About the role

As a Banking Consultant in ANZ’s Retail Banking division, you will deliver a seamless branch experience, meeting each customer’s end‑to‑end financial needs and guiding them on digital solutions. You will act as a role model and peer coach, helping to build strong advocates for ANZ.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customers with a seamless branch experience across transactions, needs‑based conversations and digital education.
• Collaborate within a team, acting as a role model and peer coach to deliver the best possible customer experience.
• Contribute to a significant uplift in customer engagement and advocacy, creating real customer value.
• Participate in and support bank programmes and initiatives.
• Take responsibility for ‘know your customer’ from a risk perspective.
• Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Exceptional customer focus, preferably with retail experience.
• Experience using and promoting technology and digital channels.
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to change and ambiguity.
• Willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Sound understanding of compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
