Banking Consultant – Part‑time (Ipswich)

About the role

The Banking Consultant role is based in the Ipswich Riverlink Shopping Centre branch and is a part‑time permanent position. You will deliver a seamless banking experience, helping customers meet their financial needs through transactions, advice and digital solutions. The role combines front‑line service with the opportunity to act as a peer coach and advocate for ANZ.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality customer service, handling transactions and product enquiries.
• Conduct needs‑based conversations to identify and recommend suitable financial solutions, including digital channels.
• Support bank programs and initiatives that drive customer engagement and advocacy.
• Maintain compliance with ANZ policies, risk standards and branch procedures.
• Collaborate with team members and act as a role model for delivering the Customer Promise.

• Strong customer focus with a retail banking mindset.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to change and ambiguity.
• Willingness to work collaboratively and coach peers.
• Commitment to understanding customers from a risk perspective.
