Banking Consultant – Part‑time (Darwin, NT)

About the role

This permanent part‑time position is based in the Darwin branch of ANZ. As a Banking Consultant you will deliver a seamless banking experience, meeting each customer’s end‑to‑end financial needs and guiding them on digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customers with a seamless branch experience across transactions, needs‑based conversations and digital education.
• Act as a role model and peer coach within a collaborative team to deliver the best possible customer experience.
• Contribute to a significant uplift in customer engagement, advocacy and real customer value.
• Participate in and support bank programmes and initiatives.
• Take responsibility for ‘know your customer’ from a risk perspective.
• Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Exceptional customer focus, retail experience is an advantage.
• Comfort using and promoting digital channels and technology.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to change and ambiguity.
• Willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Sound understanding of compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
