About the role

The Banking Consultant role is based in a branch environment, delivering a seamless banking experience to customers. You will meet end‑to‑end financial needs, advise on digital solutions and help customers achieve their financial goals.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide customers with a seamless branch experience, handling transactions and advising on digital banking solutions.
  • Act as a role model and peer coach within a collaborative team to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Drive customer engagement and advocacy while supporting bank programs and initiatives.
  • Maintain a thorough “know your customer” approach from a risk perspective.
  • Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.

Required profile

  • Strong customer focus, preferably with retail banking experience.
  • Comfortable using and promoting digital channels and technology.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to change and ambiguity.
  • Team‑oriented mindset with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of compliance requirements.
