APAC Account Manager - Low-Code Software

About the role

A global software company behind a low-code development platform for mission-critical applications (banking, manufacturing, enterprise ERP/MRP) is looking for an APAC Account Manager. The role covers Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia and Taiwan, with possible involvement in mainland China and Japan, and is remote with about 5-6 overseas trips per year, including biannual visits to the European HQ. It reports to the Global Customer Care Director and works with local technical experts and the APAC VP.

Key responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with mid-tier and enterprise customers and help them modernise and migrate legacy systems
• Grow the pipeline through market mapping and lead qualification
• Collaborate with resellers (VARs) to build their capability and support co-sell motions
• Join customer meetings with local technical experts during the first 12 months; no deep tech knowledge required initially
• Help produce and run account plans and QBRs for a strategic list of about 20 valued, mostly long-standing customers across APAC

Required profile

• Background in account management, customer success/customer service or inside sales, ideally in software/technology
• B2B experience in software or complex solutions
• Excellent English business communication; Cantonese or Malay is a bonus
• Australian work rights and full international travel eligibility, including Malaysia, Taiwan and Europe
• Comfortable working autonomously remotely, with a 3-6 month onboarding period
